Affiliate disclosure
Portable Power Guide is free to read, and no brand pays us to write about it. The plan is for affiliate links to cover the costs.
What an affiliate link is
Some links to products on this site are, or will become, affiliate links. If you click one and then buy something, the retailer or brand may pay us a commission. You don't pay any more. The price is the same whether you use our link or not.
Product links on our pages go through a short address that starts with portablepowerguide.com.au/go/. That lets us update a link in one place when a shop changes its website or when a brand accepts us into its affiliate program. It also lets us count how many people click each link, without knowing who they are.
Where things stand right now
As of October 2026 we've only just started, and none of our links earn us anything yet. They go straight to the brands' Australian stores. We plan to apply to the programs run by EcoFlow, Bluetti, Anker SOLIX and Jackery for Australia, some directly and some through networks such as impact.com.
We'll update this page as programs approve us.
How it affects what we recommend
It doesn't. We compare products on the specs their makers publish for Australia, against the job a page is about, and we show our working. A product that pays us nothing will still get the nod if it suits the job better. We don't accept free products in exchange for coverage, we don't give star ratings, and we never publish prices because they change too often to be reliable.
Every page with product links carries a short ad disclosure near the top. Affiliate links are also marked as sponsored in the page code, which is what search engines ask for.
